人文薈萃的臺北，擁有許多看表演、聽音樂、賞文物的國際級展演廳，讓民眾不用出國也能接受地球村的文化洗禮；像是收藏了翠玉白菜、肉形石等多項稀世文物的 故宮博物院，不僅是國內民眾賞古溯今的展場，也是觀光客來臺北必遊的景點；中正紀念堂裡分別有國家戲劇院及國家音樂廳，每年有不少國內外的表演團體在此演 出，民眾只需買張票便能輕鬆欣賞國際級的表演。
