AIPH（國際園藝生產者協會，International Association of Horticultural Producers）是以拓展花卉植物與景觀產業為主要目標的國際性組織，我國於2004 年入會，2006 年臺北市政府與臺灣區花卉發展協會申辦2010臺北國際花卉博覽會，並獲得授權。花博可說是園藝界的奧林匹克盛會，主辦國不但可以在國際上展現園藝與花卉 產業的實力，更可進一步帶動國內各項公共建設與經濟效益。2004年日本濱名湖花博會就是一個很好的例子。
