勞委會勞研所統計，女性勞工癌症死因第一名是乳癌，進一步分析婦女輪班與乳癌的關係，發現輪班工作是導致乳癌的潛在危險因子之一。勞研所建議，一個班別最好可以持續兩周以上，而且最好以順時針或逆時針方式輪，不要亂跳。
