2008年7月升級優化的1999臺北市民當家熱線，短短2年的時間已經處理逾340萬通來電市民的大小事，不但服務品質獲得高達8成6的滿意度，更在今年5月榮獲香港亞太顧客服務協會（APCSC）頒發「2009年亞太傑出顧客關係服務獎──年度最佳公共服務獎」（2009 CRE Awards──Public Service of the Year），創新的便民服務深獲國際肯定。
