 臺北市政府觀光傳播局局長脫宗華指出，臺北聽奧共有81個國家地區、2,670名選手參加，加上國外教練與隊職員等共約4,700人，另外國際觀光客超過6,000人，為臺北市帶來直接的觀光收益超過8億元，創造出可觀的經濟效益。
